I have a lifelong love affair with food. It may very-well be an unhealthy love affair. So?! I eat, ask, wonder, talk, think, sample and read about food, recipes and cooking so much that I figured, why not create a blog?!


What Bri's Cooking Cincinnati restaurants
New recipe: cream cheese chicken.  Paired with roasted green beans.

I used thighs, added fresh thyme & did panko crumbs instead of corn flakes then cooked it about 10 min extra at 400 to finish.  

For the green beans, I seasoned with seasoning salt, garlic & onion powder & pepper then drizzled with worcestershire & Olive oil.  Baked along side the chicken at 350 for about 20 min.  
I’ve been trying to make them like the ones at the steak house at the Chase in STL, finally got it!

PIADA Italian street food review.
I love how so many “not so fast” food joints are popping up.  When I’m on the run I don’t want fast food, I want a step up.  This place is sort of an Italian chipotle.  You pick the ingredients and they throw it together on the line in front of you.  Simple delicious Italian street food.  I kept it simple and got the Chicken Diavolo the fried chicken was crisp and spot on.  The sauce was a mix of alfredo & marinara that came together well.  I couldn’t resist ordering a peperoni pizza stick (not shown) which made an awesome pair to the pasta.  I’ll definitely be back.

Bobby burger Palace…

Finally ate at Bobby Flay’s in the Horseshoe Casino. Ordered the brunch burger & sweet potato fries: it was amazing!!!  burger w/ sunny side up egg & bacon on a really great multigrain bun.  I added a touch of mayo and I’m currently in a bit of a food coma.  Great food.  Well crafted burger.  Spent $12, but I feel like it was well worth it to escape work for a bit with my coworkers to eat good food an check on how my casino’s fairing.
