I have a lifelong love affair with food. It may very-well be an unhealthy love affair. So?! I eat, ask, wonder, talk, think, sample and read about food, recipes and cooking so much that I figured, why not create a blog?!

Fried chicken wings & legs w/ herb roasted potato wedges.

I’ve been shut in the house all day because of all that ice, figured I could use some good eats!  I’ve been wanting chicken wings for a couple days now.  I marinated them & some legs I had in the fridge with salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, lemon pepper & chili powder and chilled them in the fridge for a couple hours.  While they chilled, I cut 3 potatoes into wedges.  I tossed them with rosemary, thyme, oregano, and paprika and then drizzled with oil.  Baked at 425 degrees for 25 minutes. 

While the potatoes were cooking, I whipped up 2 eggs, a lil bit of hot sauce & water.  Dipped the chicken in the egg mixture, then tossed with flour and fried till a knife stab comes out clean.  My bf loves anything coated in BBQ sauce so after they drained on paper towels, I tossed a few wings in Sweet Baby Ray’s Sauce (if he could drink this, he would).  Dinner is served!
