Arnold’s food review.
I have been trying to stop eating crapity crap for lunch, so I looked up Arnold’s menu and was intrigued by the Sicilian Linguine. It seemed light and simple enough to be a perfect lunch. I rarely get a second to leave my office for lunch these days, so I was happy to take a walk around the corner to place a carryout order.
I didn’t look at the food before I left and this is a mistake I often regret. So once I get back to the office I look at my food and am a little saddened by what I see. I figured that there would be a better sauce to pasta ratio or a better pasta to veggie ratio or just something. Once I started eating, I just found something to be missing from this dish. What does Arnold’s have against spice?! I believe how a restaurant handles a simple dish is the key to pleasing their customers and ensuring they come back. This pasta just didn’t do it for me. I hate to think that this place is simply a good bar, but this is the third meal I’ve eaten there, so I think third strike they’re out. Sucks though, I really wanted to enjoy this.
Low down: I’d give the food a D for being too bland to finish. The bread was pretty good, though. Maybe I should’ve just got a burger?
