What Bri's Cooking

I have a lifelong love affair with food. It may very-well be an unhealthy love affair. So?! I eat, ask, wonder, talk, think, sample and read about food, recipes and cooking so much that I figured, why not create a blog?!

Silverglades soup of the year Food review.
In an effort to wake myself up during lunch today, I ventured out to silverglades.  Its right around the corner, and when I’m hungry, I want food now.  No, I mean NOW.  Walked in with no idea what I wanted but saw the soups of the day were Southwest Turkey Chili & beef vegetable.  Yes, it was 90 degrees outside, but my office was an artic 55 degrees for sure.  Upon lifting the lid of the chili, the smell slapped me across my face & demanded I buy a cup.  I obliged.
I bought a chocolate chip cookie & a handful of crackers for good measure & headed back to the office.  Upon tasting this chili I almost fell out my chair (not really).  The smell was good, but it tasted 10x better.  NOM!  This was like the soup of the year.  It was made with ground turkey, black beans, rice, corn, tomatoes, green peppers and quite possibly love because it was just that damn good!  The spices were amazing.  I actually have a good mind to go back and ask for the recipe because I too want to make this delish soup.  They have different soups every day, so now I’m following them on twitter so I can cyberstalk them until this soup is available again.
