What Bri's Cooking

I have a lifelong love affair with food. It may very-well be an unhealthy love affair. So?! I eat, ask, wonder, talk, think, sample and read about food, recipes and cooking so much that I figured, why not create a blog?!

Chipotle Food Review.
So last week, I had a taste for Chipotle.   I hadn’t had it in a while, which for me is about 3 weeks or so.  I’m not a fan of fast food, so when I need food in a hurry, Chipotle is my go to.  The one downtown is usually a mad house, but I’d waited till around 3 pm and it was pretty empty.  I’ve been there when the line was wrapped around the entire store.  So I go in and order my usual.  Chicken bowl to go w/ brown rice & black beans, mild and corn salsa, sour cream, extra cheese and extra lettuce.   Well the guy making it looks at me and asks, You really want brown rice?!  I reply, no I just come here to make weird rice jokes.  Yes, I really want brown rice.  Sir, please don’t question a woman who’s waited till 3 pm to eat lunch and expect her to be pleasant!
To me, their brown rice tastes pretty similar to the white since its mixed in with so many other ingredients.  If I’m going to get more nutritional value, I’ll go with the brown.  After I got him out of there, he made the rest of my order w/o questioning my choices and w/ chips in hand, I was on my way.  I love that the fountain square chipotle is about a half a mile, so both ways I’ve walked mile and earned the right to eat the chips, lol.  Got back to the office and ate half, like usual, the other half will be lunch tomorrow.  Another satisfied customer!
Lowdown: I love the weirdos of downtown, so the journey there is half the fun, lol!  Chipotle is the bomb, we all know it, I give the food an A.
