Fireside Pizza Wagon Food Review. 

After the Chrisette Michelle, Rob Base concert last night, my girl Lacrisha & I were starving!  We were headed to the Lucy blue pizza window on 12th, when we saw that a bunch of food trucks had taken over the parking lot at the corner of Central Parkway and Main.  Lacrisha whipped her escalade into an illegal spot and said this is where we’re getting something to eat (One of the reasons I love her)!  I hopped out while she was on police watch and went in search of something good to eat! 

Lucked up on Fireside Pizza Wagon, this place was too cute, with the wood fire going and the full kitchen set up right there outside.  There was a girl making the pizzas fresh and they even had a sink set up out there.  Whaaaat?!  Perfect.  Each pizza was about $8 and because we were parked in front of a hydrant, I ordered the redleg & the basil pesto quick & went to make sure we hadn’t been towed.  Because it was made to order we waited about 10 minutes and went back.  It was piping hot out the oven & served up on a paper plate.  

This pizza is a little touch of heaven.  I seriously feel like I want it again today as I type about it, but I don’t know where they are.  I’m going to go to twitter after this and try and stalk them because I know I’m going to need more of this pizza soon.  The ingredients were so fresh and delish.  The mozzarella was the real thing and it was amazing.  Fresh sauce and great ingredients!  So good my nephew & Lacrisha’s little boy were tearing it up too, lol! 

The lowdown: I’d give this place and A for being so authentic on the go!  The service was great, I give it an A also, the man who helped me was great about answering my questions about what came on what & he knew exactly what came on what pizza.  I highly recommend trying this place out!  I want to go back and check out some of the other vendors some time.  It its going to be hard to pass up the pizza for other foods!  Oh yeah, its that good. There were about 7 other food trucks and in the center a band was playing.  We had little ones with us and it was getting late, so we got our food to go and ate on the way home.  Great choice!
