BJ’s food review.
Met here with my girls for happy hour. I hate driving on 75 during rush hour, so a cocktail was necessary upon arrival. I ordered the X-tini as we waited for the remainder of our guests to arrive. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and I love that about this place. We rarely eat meals, just eat community style. I think it may have something to do with the fact that their menu is quite extensive. After suffering through traffic, I wasn’t prepared to read the entire menu which had to have been 10 pages minimum.
The reality is, I’m sure this place was chosen for its proximity to my friends who live in the burbs, not for its food, lol! It wasn’t bad. We devoured the spinach dip & chips, a regular choice for our group. We also ordered the boneless chicken wings, pizza which had a happy hour special and the wraps. All were well presented and made.
The Lowdown: I’d give the food a B+, mostly because I liked it, but there wasn’t anything original about it. The service was an A, our waiter was very helpful, kept our glasses full. When you have 10 women at a table, its surely overwhelming. He handled it like a G, lol!
Oh, and saying we’re meeting at BJ’s made me giggle EVERY time….
