Cobbleria!
Stopped into the Cobbleria to see about some of Aunt Flora’s Famous peach cobbler! I’ve loved this cobbler for years and I am so excited to see that they’ve opened up a new location. I’d had some at the Sugar Rush fundraiser for the Cincinnati Ballet http://whatbriscooking.tumblr.com/post/34230032996/sugar-rush-recap where they won best desert!
When I walked in there was a ton of people there and even though I wanted to order lunch, I didn’t have time to wait. It smelled delish. Right next door they’ve opened up a restaurant called What’s in the Skillet? I went ahead and ordered two of the cobblers: apple & my beloved peach to go. They are the cutest little pies, with HUGE flavor!
They wrapped them up and I buzzed back to work more excited than a kiddie on Christmas! I ate the apple first and it was so very good. I heated it a bit in our office toaster so everything could be bubbly and warm. I thought that I wouldn’t be able to eat it all since I’d just had lunch, but before I knew it, it was gone, lol! So flaky and buttery and just right. I can’t wait to go back. Love how portable they are :-)
