What Bri's Cooking

I have a lifelong love affair with food. It may very-well be an unhealthy love affair. So?! I eat, ask, wonder, talk, think, sample and read about food, recipes and cooking so much that I figured, why not create a blog?!

Maribelle’s Eat + Drink food review.

Got a massage this weekend and of course wanted something amazing to eat afterwards.  Maribelle’s eat +drink was on my way home, so I decided to stop in.  It was brunch time, and there was a few folks in there, but it wasn’t crowded.  I was in bit of a daze, so I ordered and sat back to wait for my food.  My food came out in no time, and I was on my way.  I opted for the Cheeseburger with bacon, cheddar, tomato, greens, brioche with sweet potatoes with honey whipped goat cheese & candied pecans.  The food was so fresh & made with a lot of care.  The sweet potatoes made an excellent side, they were steamed, not fried.  I appreciated not eating anything greasy after having a massage.  The burger was huge & took me a while to eat.  I didn’t care for the onions on it, I really only like onions if they’re cooked, so I took them off.  If I’d been a little more present, I would have asked for them not to be put on the burger.  Other than that the meal was just what I needed.  Great food!
