What Bri's Cooking

I have a lifelong love affair with food. It may very-well be an unhealthy love affair. So?! I eat, ask, wonder, talk, think, sample and read about food, recipes and cooking so much that I figured, why not create a blog?!

1215 Wine Bar & Coffee Lab food review.

All this time, I thought that this place was owned by Tazza Mia, when in fact, they simply carry the coffee.  Which was fine, but I went in in search of food around lunch time and had to adjust a bit.  This is definitely one of those places you go to sit, relax and enjoy coffee or a glass of wine.  I ordered an iced coffee and was surprised when she began to brew it by a method called Pour over.  It was pretty cool to watch, and I’m now considering doing the same at home.  It gave the coffee a more robust flavor, without the difficulty of a coffee maker or the grit of a French press.  I couldn’t resist ordering a chocolate croissant, but I’m sure that’s why they put them on display.  It was delicious, fresh baked that morning.  With a rich dark chocolate wrapped in a flaky croissant.  I certainly enjoyed this place, can’t wait to head back for a glass of wine.
