What Bri's Cooking

I have a lifelong love affair with food. It may very-well be an unhealthy love affair. So?! I eat, ask, wonder, talk, think, sample and read about food, recipes and cooking so much that I figured, why not create a blog?!

Ernesto’s Wine Bar Food review.

Went here for a glass of wine with some of the ladies from my Natural Hair Group.  One of the girls suggested this place because of their half priced bottles on Wednesday night.  This place had such wonderful ambiance!  We sat out on the back patio, which was enclosed and really cute.  Our waitress was really sweet and let us taste her wine recommendation which we enjoyed and ordered a bottle of.  We tried out a bunch of different flatbreads, my favorite being the Shrimp and Spinach.  The bread was crispy and made a great base for the garlic cream, herbs and toppings.  The shrimp was flavorful and of course the bacon made a perfect compliment.  It wasn’t a whole lot of food, but made for a perfect light dinner.  We sat out there talking for hours, which I must admit was pretty chill.  The weather was cooperating and when the bill came, we all passed on dessert.  My bill was so only $14, which blew my mind: the food was great and splitting a bottle three ways.  I feel like I got away with murder, lol!

I really enjoyed this place and can’t wait to enjoy many great nights at Ernesto’s.
