What Bri's Cooking

I have a lifelong love affair with food. It may very-well be an unhealthy love affair. So?! I eat, ask, wonder, talk, think, sample and read about food, recipes and cooking so much that I figured, why not create a blog?!

Bogart’s Smokehouse food review.

Will had been told that the food here was really good.  They were closing in 30 minutes, so we decided to order the food to go.  I called in an order of the prime rib for myself & the brisket for my husband.  We weren’t really pleased with their choices of sides and opted for chips & potato salad reluctantly.  Shortly, someone me back and let me know they didn’t have any prime rib left.  I settled for the brisket.

Our food was ready when we got there.  We got it home and popped it open.  I ended up with pork grinds which I wasn’t going to eat if you paid me.  I like the potato salad well enough, but didn’t feel like it was a great compliment to the sandwich. Will’s chips were pretty tasted as far as chips go. The brisket was okay, a bit soggy, but the bread was delicious.
Overall, I don’t know that I’d go back to bogarts.  It was okay barbeque in a city full of amazing barbeque, which is unfortunate.
